The Turkey Creek Fire Territory, in an effort to increase awareness and protect our community from the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning, is providing free carbon monoxide detectors to everyone that cannot afford one.

Members of the Turkey Creek Fire Territory have moved to the second story of Station #1. On the second floor, new facilities include: a new training/ meeting room; a physical fitness room; a new kitchen area; a new dayroom; new restrooms and showers; new bunk rooms and a new report room.
Provided fire and EMS standby at Station #2 and fire department standby on Lake Wawasee with Rescue #14. No incidents or injuries reported during the event.
Provided fire and EMS units and personnel standby at the end of John St., provided EMS personnel by all terrain vehicle in the area of the Syracuse Lakeside Park and provided fire department personnel standby on Syracuse Lake by boat in Rescue #14.

The remount of Rescue Truck #1 to a 2015 International Harvester chassis is completed and the truck is delivered to us by Life Star Rescue, Inc.
Several personnel with apparatus and equipment attended the annual Wawasee Property Owners Association/ Syracuse Lake Association breakfast at the Oakwood Inn. A display of equipment for viewing and discussion with fire department and EMS personnel is provided.
