Dispatched for a structure fire. While enroute to the scene, mutual aid with manpower and a tanker is requested from the North Webster Fire Department. The Milford Fire Department tanker is automatically dispatched as well. Upon arrival, flames are noted at the alpha delta corner of the structure; unknown if occupants are inside of the structure. Offensive fire attack initiated along with a search for possible occupants inside of the structure with no occupants located inside of the structure. Additional manpower is requested from the Milford Fire Department. Bystanders at the scene advised us that they had made contact with the homeowner who states that there are no known occupants inside of the structure. A transitional fire attack is initiated. The fire is brought under control and extinguished. The Kosciusko County Squad 70 is requested for the fire investigation. The American Red Cross is requested for a response to the scene to assist the owners with future clothing needs and to provide support to the firefighting crews at the scene. A board up crew is requested to secure the structure. All mutual aid companies released from the scene. We assisted with the fire investigation. All units and personnel cleared the scene and returned to quarters.
