Fire Alarm at 7796 E. Vawter Park Road

The Turkey Creek Fire Territory responded to a smoke alarm activation at 1:37 PM; smoke alarm upstairs in the house. Upon arrival of the first engine crew, construction crews are noted to be inside of the structure with the entry door to the structure open. Construction crews are noted to be sanding the floor of the structure. Incident Command spoke with the construction crew at the scene who stated that they attempted to disregard the fire department response without success. The construction workers state that there is no fire and that this is an accidental smoke alarm activation. All crews en route to the scene are cancelled. Engine 12-2 cleared the scene at 1:48 PM and returned to quarters.
