Dispatched for a report of a fire in trees on CR 1000N just east of Syracuse-Webster Road. Upon arrival, a brush pile near a wooded area is noted to be burning. This appears to be a controlled burn, but no one was attending the fire.

Dispatched for a vehicle into the building; no injuries. Upon arrival, the vehicle involved reportedly struck the exterior wall of the building. The vehicle involved is not inside the building and is sitting approximately 20 feet away from the building.
Dispatched for an odor of a natural gas leak. Upon arrival, the residence has been evacuated and a search of the residence is completed. A strong odor of natural gas is noted in the cellar area at the rear of the structure.
Dispatched for an odor of natural gas behind the residence; advised that NIPSCO had been contacted an hour earlier by the resident. Upon arrival, resident noted to be outside; stated that they had smelled "rotten eggs" behind the residence.

Dispatched for a field fire. Upon arrival, a field fire is noted in a picked corn field behind the residence and is noted to have began when the owner was open burning on the ground and the fire went out of control.
Dispatched for a fire alarm; furnace smoke detector activation. Upon arrival, the structure is unoccupied with all doors secured. The fire department personnel at the scene and the dispatcher are both working with the alarm company to make contact with the owner/ occupant without success.
