We were notified of possible unauthorized burning near the intersection. Upon our arrival and investigation, a subject was found to be burning the remnants of a mobile home. IDEM burning regulations are explained to the subject that is conducting the burning activity.

Dispatched for a grass fire on SR 13 near the Southshore Golf Course on the west side of SR 13. Upon arrival, a small grass fire is located along the roadway and extinguished. All units and personnel cleared the scene and returned to quarters.
Ambulance 12-7 requested additional assistance at an EMS emergency scene and a medical helicopter landing zone to be set up at Wawasee High School. We assisted the Ambulance 12-7 crew with EMS care and transport to the landing zone.
